A laid-back, feel-good tune that features tenor saxophone and trombone on the melody, 1st Tenor solo, an exciting and challenging trombone soli, a “shout” chorus made up of short ensemble solis, and a short trumpet improvisation (4th trumpet). The feel alternates between an easy “2-feel” and straight-ahead 4/4 swing.
An optional vibes part (provided) doubles the melody with tenor & trombone, features an optional improvised solo, and also doubles trombone soli.
